i3-Route™ Next Generation Core Service

NG9-1-1 Core Services are part of our i3-Route™ subscription service. The platform includes the complete set of NG9-1-1 Core Services (NGCS) defined in NENA-STA-010.3b-2021 standards, enabling reliable routing for voice, text, and future emergency communications while supporting interoperability across agencies and jurisdictions.

What Is i3-Route™?

i3-Route™ is our fully-customizable ESInet and NG9-1-1 core service solution suite. Built on NENA i3 standards, i3-Route includes the NG9-1-1 Core Services (NGCS) that determine where emergency calls are delivered, how they should be routed, and how location information is validated. By replacing legacy selective routing with intelligent IP-based routing, i3-Route helps agencies improve their reliability, flexibility, scalability, and long-term operational and budget efficiency.

Key capabilities include:
  • Intelligent, rules-based emergency call routing
  • Geospatial location validation and routing
  • Support for voice, text, and future multimedia communications
  • NENA i3-compliant NG9-1-1 Core Services (NGCS)
  • High availability and geographically redundant architecture
  • Ongoing software updates, maintenance, and standards compliance

MSAG Conversion Services

i3-Route™ includes MSAG conversion services that help jurisdictions transition from legacy Master Street Address Guide (MSAG) data to the geospatial location data required by NG9-1-1.

Converting legacy address records into standardized GIS data improves location validation, routing accuracy, and interoperability between emergency communications systems. This simplifies migration while helping agencies build the geospatial datasets required for NENA i3-compliant call routing.

NENA Standards Compliant

The platform supports the NG9-1-1 functional architecture defined by NENA, enabling secure interoperability between Originating Service Providers (OSPs), Emergency Services IP Networks (ESInets), NG9-1-1 Core Services (NGCS), and Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs). The ongoing software updates and alignment with NENA standards help agencies remain compliant as NG9-1-1 technology continues to evolve.
