Next Generation 9-1-1 professionals will gather at the Kentucky Emergency Services Conference (KESC) in September 2024! Synergem Technologies is an event sponsor, and we will be at the exhibit hall in Booth #13 on Sept. 4th and 5th to discuss all things next generation 9-1-1.
In addition to hanging with our team of NG9-1-1 experts, the conference has a big agenda. They’ll kick off with a keynote speaker, Robert J. O’neil, a highly-decorated combat veteran. Robert served at SEAL Team Two, SEAL Team Four and eight years at the legendary SEAL Team Six leading over 400 combat missions. He will talk about his experiences, his books, and his current efforts today as the co-founder of Special Operators Transition Foundation. His organization specializes in assisting Special Operations Forces veterans transition from the service into their next great career upon returning home. Read more about Robert on the KESC site and be sure to register to hear first hand his life experiences.
In addition to the great speakers and sessions, this Next Generation 9-1-1 event is a place where you can update your professional headshot, for free! There are certain dates and time slots where they are offering this service to attendees so be sure to review availability on the website.
Once you have a nice, new headshot you may have to attend an association meeting. There will be a handful of them for NG9-1-1 leaders and members to attend, including:
Once the meetings are wrapped for the day and exhibitors have left the hall on Wednesday, September 4th, unwind at the KESC block party! Listen to Louisville’s premier rock ‘n roll dance band, Caribou. You’ll jam to a variety of songs from funk artists back in the day like Rick James, The Time, etc and current artists like Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, Florida/Georgia Line and more!
End the KESC event at the beautiful awards banquet where you’ll indulge in a dinner buffet. As you eat, mingle and network with other attendees, take pictures, watch the “in memory” video honoring those in Kentucky 911 and emergency management who have made the ultimate sacrifice this past year, and watch and support the KEMA, KENA, and KY APCO awards presentation.
Still looking for more entertainment after the awards banquet? Join the Hospitality Committee as they host Howl2GO inLouisville. Howl2GO is world famous for their high-energy Dueling Piano show which they will perform for KESC attendees! You can learn more about their show here.
Tell your friends and family about this must-attend Next Generation 9-1-1 event and be sure to register today. We hope to see you in September in Kentucky!
