Interoperability in NG9-1-1 Using EIDOs (Emergency Incident Data Object)

The NG9-1-1 environment will allow more incident information exchange between agencies and within agencies to improve response time. While EIDOs will improve response time and decrease workload, we will face new and interesting challenges of interoperability with data and calls for service. This presentation will summarize some of the challenges and the proposed resolutions. More specifically, those solutions that the NENA EIDO Management Working Group has developed with other Working Groups.
